A beautifully detailed 1:32 scale tribute to one of the more storied entries at the 1969 24 Hours of Le Mans, from Spanish manufacturer Fly Car Model.

This is car #68, entered by German motoring magazine Deutsche Auto Zeitung and driven by Helmut Kelleners and Reinhold Joest — remarkably, this was Joest's very first Le Mans start, the beginning of a career that would eventually make him one of the most successful team owners in the race's history. After battling vibrations, brake and gearbox issues through the night, the crew brought the GT40 home in 6th place overall and 3rd in the Sports class, beaten only by the two factory Gulf GT40s.

Finished in crisp white with the striking black/red/gold "Deutsche Auto Zeitung" stripe, this model carries a full suite of period-correct sponsor decals — Dunlop, Ferodo, Girling, Cibie, Trico, Autolite, Shell, and Koni — recreating every detail of the real #68 car down to the roll-hoop and rear grille treatment.
